The Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia (OSG) is one of Spain’s leading orchestras with followers on five continents through its YouTube channel, with more than four million views. The orchestra has been resident at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro and the Mozart Festival of La Coruña. The OSG has toured extensively in Germany and Austria, and visited South America for the first time in 2007. In 2016 the orchestra made a tour to the United Arab Emirates. Since 2013 the chief conductor has been Dima Slobodeniouk; Victor Pablo Pérez is honorary conductor. Through its history the OSG has collaborated with conductors and soloists of international stature, including Gustavo Dudamel, Lorin Maazel, Ton Koopman, Jesús López-Cobos, Osmo Vänskä, Maurizio Pollini, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Krystian Zimerman, Maria Joâo Pires and Elizabeth Leonskaja.
