The Czech soprano Hana Blažíková works with conductors such as Philippe Herreweghe, John Eliot Gardiner and Masaaki Suzuki, and ensembles and orchestras including the Collegium Vocale Gent, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, L’Arpeggiata and Bach Collegium Japan. A leading specialist in the interpretation of baroque, Renaissance and medieval music, she performs at prestigious venues and festivals in Europe, the USA, Canada and Japan, and appears on numerous recordings, including the acclaimed cantata series from Bach Collegium Japan. Hana Blažíková also plays the gothic harp, and regularly gives concerts accompanying herself.
