Born in Russia, Alina Ibragimova is a former pupil of the Moscow Gnessin School, the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal College of Music, London. Her teachers have included Natasha Boyarsky, Gordan Nikolitch and Christian Tetzlaff.
Alina Ibragimova has performed at the BBC Proms, the Salzburg, Verbier and MDR Musiksommer festivals, Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and with orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Stuttgart and Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestras, with conductors such as Sir Charles Mackerras, Richard Hickox and Osmo Vänskä. As soloist/director she has toured with Kremerata Baltica, the Britten Sinfonia and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
