Mie Miki is regarded as the foremost Japanese accordion player of today. At her instigation more than sixty solo and chamber works for accordion have come into being, by such composers as Yuji Takahashi, Toshio Hosokawa, Adriana Hölszky, Hans-Joachim Hespos, Nicolaus A.
