This album features three world premiere recordings of concertos by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, showcasing the rarely performed keyboard versions of his works. The pieces are performed on a tangent piano, built in 1993 by Ghislain Potvlieghe, replicating an instrument from 1799. Miklós Spányi, an expert in C.P.E. Bach's oeuvre, leads the performances alongside the baroque orchestra Concerto Armonico, directed by Pèter Szûts and Miklós Spányi. The album highlights Bach's innovative compositions, which were originally intended for different solo instruments, emphasizing their lyrical and expressive qualities.
