The violinist Antti Tikkanen is a versatile musician with an exciting career spanning solo, chamber and baroque performance. He took up the violin at the age of seven, going on to study at the Kuhmo Violin School, the Sibelius Academy and the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA). He has performed with numerous Finnish orchestras, including the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta and the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, and appears at music festivals across Europe. Antti Tikkanen is a founding member of the internationally acclaimed string quartet Meta4, and also served as artistic director of the Finnish Baroque Orchestra from 2014 until 2017.
