Sara Trobäck



The Swedish violinist Sara Trobäck was a pupil of György Pauk at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She performs as a soloist and chamber musician both in Sweden and internationally. In 2002 she formed the Trio Poseidon together with the cellist Claes Gunnarsson and the pianist Per Lundberg. Since 2002 she has been leader of the Gothenburg Symphony, and in 2008 she was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. She performs on a violin by G. B. Guadagnini (Parma 1753) on loan from the Järnåker Foundation, using a bow by Nicolas Maline (1860–65).
